This week I transfererad! Yay! New places and new things and new people! Handen is amazing though, the ward is highly functional and eager to help out and they like feeding the missionaries, it's good. However, I do miss Västra Frölunda. That ward was amazing and Göteborg is a great city to work in.

I also got myself a new companion! Elder Jackson is his name, and he's actually cousins with family Lewis in MV5! That's way cool. He's super smart and very eager to work, he does a great job of it to. Not to mention, for being out in the field as long as he has his Swedish is superb, definitely a great missionary.

So cool story I think I'll share, this one day we were walking around stan contacting then it became time to take the bus to another place and on the way to the bus I saw a man walking on the other side of the street away from us and I was like "Oh, we are so gonna contact him" so we both speed walked over there and he wasn't interested. But then we turned around and the bus we were supposed to take drove by the stop which we weren't at. So we started walking to the stop to see when the next bus would come and we talk to an African family on the way that ends up being interested, but they actually live in Italy. Then we were waiting at the bus stop when a less active member pulls up and asks if we would like a ride somewhere, so we hop in and start talking to this member and he commits to come to church! And just think, none of that would have happened if we hadn't gone out of our way to follow the promptings of the spirit. Just think, how many opportunities to do good have you missed out on because you ignored a prompting? If that number is greater than or equal to one, Isaiah 1:16.

As for pictures,

1860: a "three generation" photo
1866: three generations plus Crazy Uncle Elder Loertscher
1872: a long bed of flowers
1876: We thought it was a sign, but they weren't interested
1881: Just some good old raking
1887: Fairly often it happens in Sweden that after church they just set out food in the gym and it becomes free-for-all, and I like it when that happens.
1890: Then last but not least, Nefis Bakery. Specializes in beheading-baguettes, Liahona rolls, and tear-stained pillow cakes.

Love ya! Have a great week!

As every six weeks leads to transfer calls, and I've been in Västra Frölunda for six months which is the longest people stay in an area in this mission, it was no surprise to me to find out that I will be transferring this week. However what was a surprise was to find out that I will be leaving Västra Frölunda (3rd largest ward in Sweden) and, after serving in Lund as well (in the top 10 largest wards in Sweden), I will be going to Handen (the largest ward in Sweden). That will be super fun, but I think the who mission thinks I'm a princess missionary because I haven't gone to any small wards or branches yet. I'm super exited though, Handen is a great ward and they just got a new chapel that was dedicated while I was in the MTC and the apartment is roughly 20 minutes from the temple, it'll be awesome.

However, that does mean that it's time to leave Västra Frölunda which is sad. I've become good friends with a lot of people here and have seen a lot of really good things happen in the ward.

Something else that is super cool is I got to travel to Stockholm this week for a special training from President Youngberg that was way good. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of Stockholm from that because I left the phone in VF but the training was super good. President Youngberg has a very big focus on following the Spirit which I think is super good and he is full of much wisdom and knowlege. And his wife Sister Youngberg makes some amazing cookies and pulled pork and is equally filled with much wisdom and knowledge. I love them both.

Anyways, we have to pack (Elder Harrell is transferring to Uppsala so we both have to pack and we have to make a transfer report and actually clean our apartment, it's rough) so I gotta head now. Love ya!

This week we got to meet our new mission president, President Youngberg! He is amazing, such an awesome person who is very guided by the spirit. He took his wife on their first date Saturdaynight and proposed the next  Monday, married two months later.. Fast forward 35(?) years and he's got tons of kids all of which are married, most of which have kids of their own. Goals.

But really though, he's awesome. He reminds me a bit of President Taylor mixed with Brother Kelly, and as you members of the MV5 ward can imagine, it's a good mix.

Also this week I gave a talk about the Holy Ghost at a baptism so I think I will write down some thoughts about the Holy Ghost. But first, watch the Mormon Message "The Music of the Gospel". You see, I really like the analogy that Elder Andersen gives us. The Dance of the Gospel is the things we do, the Music of the Gospel is the feelings we get from the Holy Ghost confirming what we do to be right. Doing the Dance with out hearing the Music doesn't really work, and your sensitivity to the Music will decrease if you stop dancing. Also, the Lord has commanded us to be a peculiar people (Deuteronomy 14:2) and that means that we have to dance the Dance even when the people around aren't. Have you ever seen someone pull up next to you at a stop light and they're dancing and singing to some music but you cannot hear it? It looks strange and peculiar, just as some people may think we are strange and peculiar for doing the Dance of the Gospel when they themselves cannot hear the Music of the Gospel. As such, rather then stopping the Dance to be like them we need to help our fellow men hear the Music so they can dance too. And what does one do to hear the Music? For that question I turn to my favorite Mormon Message,The Voice of the Spirit. I'll leave the question without answer though and leave it to y'all to find out how we can hear the Music of the Gospel.Other then that, this week was great! I got a nice Valentine from my biggest fan Lennart. Celebrte the 4th with an American Family, and forgot to take any pictures with President Youngberg.

Ha det bra!

Kära familj och vänner!

This week was completely normal! We worked hard and had fun! The only new picture we got was some members moved in the ward from one of Elder Harrells old areas! Life is awesome! I love Sweden! Daniel is from Ethiopia and could use some prayers for help with his job so he can come to church! I don't really know why I'm writing with exclamation marks but now I can't stop! Love you all! Sorry the email is a little shorter! Oh ya we also got a new mission president! His name is President Youngberg! He came in this last Friday (or Thursday)! I haven't met him yet but will this Friday! Pray for him as well! He just got a lot of responsibilities!

Lovya!
Elder Wilson!
