Swedish History Museum

Family, friends, and others,

Last p-day we went to the Swedish History Museum and it was super cool! I'll attach a lot of pictures.

Funny story, there is this one person we are teaching who is from Nicaragua (shout out to Elder Gonzalez!) and we were talking about how God is our Heavenly Father and so I asked this man if he's a papa and he says yes then askes if I'm a papa and I say "Nej, men jag har en papa" but the man missed that first part and thought that I'm a dad. Funny story.

Something that's cool about Sweden is that I get to meet people from everywhere. There are probably more countries of which I've met someone native to it than there are countries I haven't met someone native to it. I've covered almost all of Europe, all of Asia, and most of South America and Africa. So that's pretty neat!

Also, one day I thought to myself "Self? What do you want to study today? Well, Self, I would like to read from a random spot in the Book of Mormon." so I opened up to Alma 11 and read all the way up through 16, super good chapters. Zeezrom was literally doing the same thing as Alma had done, and had the same experience (substitute Angel for Alma) as Alma, and ended up being a missionary like Alma. Moral of the story, the Lord knows each of us personally and sent someone to Zeezrom who would know what Zeezrom was going through. Thus, Alma is also a type of Christ in this story and Christ went though the atonement so as to "[S] suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people.
And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.
Now the Spirit knoweth all things; nevertheless the Son of God suffereth according to the flesh that he might take upon him the sins of his people, that he might blot out their transgressions according to the power of his deliverance; and now behold, this is the testimony which is in me." (Alma 7:11-13)

Moral of the story, the scriptures are good.
I am doing great, still in Handen and having a party with Elder Jackson, have a great week because I know I will,
Elder Wilson
